A new version of Mast is now available, and I’m super excited about GIF browsing! πŸŽ‰βš‘οΈπŸ€–

@JPEG Have you thought about syncing timeline position to iCloud so when you pickup iPad after using Mast on iPhone (or vice versa) for awhile it jumps to where you left off instead of having to scroll and sync 19 toots at a time manually?

I made something for Mastodon: A gallery mini-app.

You can simply drop it in your Mastodon server's public folder, and it will show images from your server in a mosaic grid with infinite scroll. Supports some configuration as well, e.g. whether to limit it to only local images, or a specific hashtag, or which server to fetch from.

πŸŽ‰ #Mastodon 2.6.0 is out! πŸŽ‰

- Link ownership verification
- Redesigned forms
- Revamped DMs column
- In-stream link previews
- More tootctl utilities for admins
- Improved admin UIs

And a load of bug fixes! 🐘

Don't let Google News decide which stories you see, control your own news with RSS:

Also, did you know you can follow any Mastodon account through RSS?

Just add ".rss" to the end of the account's address, for example:

#RSS #News #NewsFeeds #DeleteGoogle #DeleteGoogleNews

So... remember how I said I'm taking the weekend off development? Well... I couldn't resist. I've now started work on the Mast iPad app.

Right now, if I enable iPad support in Mast, everything just looks bloated like this. I know that other apps suffice with this but it's not what I want at all which is why I haven't enabled it. I'm aiming towards a more multi-column web-like experience for the iPad.

This is four evenings worth of work. It's now submitted. πŸŽ‰

@JPEG My instance is on v2.5.2 of Mastodon.

If you like using Mast, I'd love an upvote on ProductHunt over at (we're featured! πŸŽ‰).

More visibility would be great and mean more than you can imagine! πŸ˜…

@jamie I do indeed! Going to start work on that sometime next week.

It's finally here! v1.0 of Toot! has been officially released on the app store!

For those who have not been in on the beta test already, this is an Mastodon client for iOS, full of character and whimsy. It is multi-instance, multi-account, it is fast, it is comfortable and it is above all a lot of fun!

It has a strong focus on user experience, animation, and attention to detail, as well as being the best client for Mastodon around. Try it now!

If you haven’t heard about it already, an all new beautiful iOS Mastodon app is now available on the App Store. πŸŽ‰

It contains 3D Touch, Today and Share extensions, Siri Shortcuts, iMessage Stickers, a Watch app, and so much more!

I’m happy to announce the release of my new iOS Mastodon app β€˜Mast’. πŸŽ‰

@Gargron I can recommend I have 2 and they serve me well. If volume is an issue they have all different switch types. And you can order a little tester ( ) that has the different ones on it to try. It’s also makes a good fidget device afterwards.

@jamie That’s a very valid point! I’ll add colour options soon, and add matching app icon alternatives to go with it. PCalc is great!

Added one of the most requested features: a back button.

In essence, Mastodon is a decentralized, open source social network. This is the instance - just one part of that network - which is run for my own personal use.
